Dear All,

i try to connect m1q and myq to my Synology Disk-Station, but sadly it does not seem to work.

I have DSM Version 6.1.4

and Survaillance Station version 7.2.0

Station is DS115j

I disconnected all other cams.

First the search finds the Following:

Here it seems Port 80 is accessable, but the portscanner tells me only the following open Ports:

Port 23 (TCP)
Port 554 (TCP)
Port 843 (TCP)

Port 3201 (TCP)

So i try to set to Port 554 (with VLC it works)

But when i test the connection it says that it fails the test.

On Port 80 it works with the test, but later it shows no picture and tells it is disconnected.

I cant change the port to 554, but i cant safe it. Only Port 80.

What can i do now?

Is it possible to change the password? perhaps this is the problem, i tried with Admin admin and no pass and pass 20160404 but nothing worked.

Thank you

Bierfreund

Dear all,

Hi all,

I use a DG-M1X connected to my Surveillance Station (Synology) and I have exactly the same issue.

Surveillance Station detect the camera on the onvif port 5000 but it's not possible to configure it.

For working we have to configure manualy the Rtsp port 554 with the /onvif1 option.

The result is that all the functionnaly of the camera are not avalaible. As exemple:

- Motion capture.

-Moving the camera.

- Cuting and poor quality.

Is it possible to fix this issue (new firmware)?

Thanks.

Thank you for Dave's info so I'm able to connect my cam eventually.

I have a DG-M1Q 960P and synology 6.1.4 (Surveillance Station 8.1.2)

I have scanned all ports and it showed that only 554 and 5000 is open, and only 554 works

The interface was slightly different from previous capture in 8.1.2

Port: 554

Brand: [User Define]

Video format: H.264

Audio format: (Same with camera setting)

Source path: /onvif1

Username: admin

Password: I've tried that using default or after customizing your password it still works, so whatever password you have set

Test connection should be successful in 3 seconds.

Also if you need to reset your cam, you'll need to press the pin for 3 seconds.  I'm stuck by trying to reset it with one press.

I have the same issue - 554 works, but quality is poor. FW of camera I have is 22.0.0.17

Seems there is 21 version patch availabe for download - not sure it is newer that one I have?

Does anybody tried?
