We sincerely apologize for a series of delays to our new generation smart doorbell, DG-XYA.

This new doorbell can work with indoor unit through RF connection, which means that it can ring on both the smart device and the indoor chime when you press the bell. This doorbell should be delivered to your place on Oct 15th. But unfortunately, the supplier of indoor units sent us the wrong doorbells after two weeks of the pre-sale.

Since it happened, we have done everything we could. But we were in a dilemma whether to send XYA without the indoor unit or an equipped indoor unit. That means you won't have the indoor chime if you choose XYA without the indoor unit. For this, we also have been under the immense pressure for the last two months. 

We totally understand that you were so pleasantly surpirsed when you knew the bell presales $39.99 only. We also understand your disappointment when you have to wait for one month or more. Again, we sincerely apologize to you all.

Could Anyone tell me how to set DigooEye series cam connect to Synology???

Got too many mails asked about the basic configuration about the DigooEye series cam,

here, would like to share a basic tips.

As for how to connect to the app and cam, here is some tips for you.
1, plz make sure to use the 2.4g router , and turn on the dhcp on the router
2, use the same wifi on the app as your phone use,and do not contain any special characters of the wifi psw
3, when you try to configurate the cam,plz make sure the environment is quiet. 
4, if failed above the steps,plz reset the cam and try to connect again.
5.btw, the default psw is 20160404,you could change it later.
6. the mailbox when you want to register,means the email account &address you use to as the app account.

Follow the pic below to finish the configuration.

1) Power the cam, 5 V1 A

2) Pay attention to the Blue Light

3) Find the Reset button 

4) Try to reset the button, till hear a sound" reset the default setting"

5) Use the app "DigooEye"

6) Click "+' to add cam

7) add new device

8) smart link

8) Same local network, " same wifi the phone use as the app use"

9) After a sound" waitting for configuration" 

10) Make the phone close to the cam

11) After the sounds " Start configuration" _" Wifi Configuration done"

12) Complete the basic information( device id will show automatically)

13) Reload the cam to get the image

1. App version: check if the App is the latest version (Android 1.0/ IOS 2.2).

2. Phone system: Android 4.4  / IOS 9.0  or higher.

3. Phone power:  ≥ 15%

4. Keep away from the interfering sources, such as router.

5. Avoid running multiple Apps simultaneously.

6. Restart your phone ( Android Only)

now coming with the tips of it : )

1. A sim card is needed, 2g/3g/4g mobile card is supported

2.check if it works

3. Switch----Arm SMS--on

4.Main Menu----Phone

5. Add phone number----Dial & SMS----on

6.Main Menu----record （ inform your home address when calling the police）

7. Make a record, after 20s, confirm and finnish setting : )

Then try to arm and make sensor detect, check if call and sms coming.

Here are solutions for what outdoor parameters of weather station do not show on the displayer.

1. Insert the batteries into the displayer, then into the sensor.

2. Check the outdoor sensor to see if the data is working (TH8888) or the LED is flashing(TH1981) when the power is on. If not, there might be an error on the outdoor sensor.

3. Press "CH" button to switch the sensor channel. 

4. Keep away from interference sources, such as remote controler, computer and earphone, ect.

Try above solutions when you meet the problems.

The the manual for email alert(gmail).

1.Login your gmail account in Google.

2.Open the security page and change your account to allow the app accessing your mailbox.

3.Open the setting page in your mail and set up the POP/IMAP.

4. After finish the setting in mail page, just open the app and set up the motion detection in alarm setting.

This is a manual about the email alert for M1Q/M1X/M1Z (gmail).

In case if you would like to use the DG-M1X as a replacement of an old Foscam, or Escam camera, the micro USB power connector could be a problem. Opening the base of the camera (three screws are under the rubber pads), a standard 4mm power socket can be simply built in. The "+" and "-"  5V terminals are noted on Fig1. Drilling the back plate (Fig2), the new power socket can be glued from the inner side. And the terminals can be simply connected to the main panel (Fig3). Maybe the guaranty lost, but you can have an easy replacement of the old camera. It is a good idea to test everything to be a good working condition before any modification (i.e. before the guaranty loss). It also seems to be possible, that the camera has a POE circuit printed on the mainboard without the required components (see upper side of Fig1).
